Thank you very much to the Ure family for our fancy iPoint pencil sharpener and 40-sheet (!) hole puncher!!! The kids were very excited about our new "toys" and were definitely sharpening and 3-hole punching more than usual today!

Yes, the biweekly current events have been discontinued. Students were getting so much out of the daily presentations and discussions/debates that I didn't feel it was necessary for them to write a report every two weeks anymore. They do, however, have to turn in their 3-paragraph report the day that they are to present.
